These southwestern-style Air Fryer Turkey Burgers are so juicy and full of taste, it’s hard to believe that they are healthier than conventional burgers. Although ground turkey has more calories than beef, it’s lower in saturated fat, which is more important to many people. I loooooove that this completely tasty air fryer burgers recipe is soooo rapid and simple. We’re talking ready in less than 10 minutes, folks!
Air Fryer Turkey Burgers
- 1 ½ pounds (680g) ground white meat turkey
- ¼ cup (108g) breadcrumbs
- 1 egg lightly beaten
- ½ tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tsp paprika
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- Pinch of cayenne pepper optional
- salt and pepper to taste
First Preheat the air fryer to 350F / 180C.
Then add all the ingredient to a mixing bowl and join, being careful not to over-work the mixture.
After Shape into 6 person burger patties and add them to the air fryer basket in batches, making sure they do not touch.
Then, spray each patty with olive oil or no-calorie cooking spray, and air fry for five (5) minutes, then flip over and cook for another five (5) minutes.
After, If desired, top each patty with a slice of cheese and cook for twenty (20) seconds more, then remove from the air fryer.
Repeat the process until all your burgers are cooked.
