Air Fryer Dorito Chicken is coated in spices and crushed Doritos, next air-fried until super crunchy! The chips add layers of flavor and texture, which the chicken is juicy. Use your preferred Doritos flavor for a quick and delicious lunch that’s also kid-friendly!

Air Fryer Dorito Chicken is an amusing way to turn plain chicken tenders into a unique and delicious meal. Fresh chicken strips are coated in spiced flour, fresh eggs, and a generous layer of crushed Doritos, then air-fried until they’re crispy, crunchy, and super delicious!

These are ideal, particularly if you have picky eaters at home. You can serve these with tater tots, fries, a small salad, or pasta and vegetables for a full meal. Or, you can just serve it with homemade dips for a great snack. We encourage you to experiment with your favorite chip flavors!

Air Fryer Dorito Chicken

Ingredients

8-12 boneless skinless chicken tenders

1 large bag of Doritos

1 cup Panko crumbs

1 cup all-purpose flour

2 tablespoons smoked paprika

1 tablespoon ranch powder

4 eggs beaten

Olive oil cooking spray

Instructions

First preheat Air fryer to 380 degrees F.

Next, Add the Doritos to a ziplock bag and crush them until they resemble Panko crumbs.

After, add the Dorito crumbs and Panko crumbs to a medium, shallow bowl and set to the side

Mix flour, paprika, and ranch in another medium shallow bowl.

Put the beaten eggs in the third bowl.

After, dredge each chicken tender in the flour combination and shake off excess.

Dip it in the egg wash to coat evenly.

Air Fryer Chicken

Finally, dredge it in the Doritos Panko mix and coat evenly. Put on a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.

Repeat with the remaining chicken strips.

Air Fry for 12-14 minutes, turning once mid-cooking, cook until crispy and golden-brown. Make sure you do NOT overcrowd the air fryer basket. Cook in batches if needed.

Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
